We are pleased to welcome you to Sterling Paws Veterinary Hospital. Our desire is to provide you with the highest quality veterinary care in a compassionate manner. It is our policy to make financial arrangements with you before any treatment begins. During any visit with us, please feel free to ask for an estimate of services to be provided by any of our staff. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
1. Payment for services is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Care Credit, and Discover).
2. There will be a $30.00 service charge for all returned checks.
3. Sterling Paws Veterinary Hospital cannot carry balances longer than ninety (90) days. Delinquent accounts will be charged with a monthly interest rate of 1.5% with a minimum of $5.00.
4. After ninety (90) days, we will inform you in writing of your delinquent account and if no action is taken to clear the account, it will be sent to a collection agency or credit bureau. Should this office be required to employ an attorney or agency to collect delinquent payments, the responsible party will be charged a $75.00 processing fee plus the collection fee of 28%.
5. The person(s) who brings an animal in for the initial visit is responsible for payment. If a minor brings in the pet(s), the parent or guardian is responsible for payment.
